INTRODUCTION
The Girl and Women Empowerment Programme of Educrest Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) is designed to create opportunities for girls and women to develop their potential, acquire relevant skills, build confidence, access education and economic opportunities, and participate meaningfully in family, community, institutional, and national development. EHF recognises that girls and women possess immense potential, creativity, resilience, and leadership capacity, yet many continue to face barriers that limit their educational, economic, professional, and social advancement. These may include limited access to quality education, financial constraints, inadequate skills and mentorship, restricted economic opportunities, low confidence, social pressures, limited representation in leadership, and unequal access to resources and information. Through its programmes and initiatives, EHF creates supportive platforms where girls and women can learn, develop, lead, create, and thrive.
EDUCATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
EHF promotes educational opportunities and lifelong learning for girls and women by providing academic support, learning resources, mentorship, career guidance, leadership development, and opportunities for personal growth. The programme encourages girls to remain engaged in education, develop confidence in their abilities, pursue ambitious goals, and prepare effectively for further education, careers, entrepreneurship, and responsible leadership.
SKILLS, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
EHF provides opportunities for girls and women to acquire practical, vocational, digital, entrepreneurial, financial, and income-generating skills.
